Rules and Requirements

Meet Rules

  • The purpose of this meet is to HAVE FUN and receive feedback.  We reserve the right to modify and add to these rules as needed to support these goals.
  • We will be using Xcel rules on WAG events.  Any deviation from Xcel rules will be noted below.
The Xcel levels are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
  • We will be using Level 7, Level 9, and Modified NCAA Rules on MAG events.  Any deviation from those  will be noted below.  More details here: https://naigc.org/mens-rules/
  • Each event can be at a different level, but you will only qualify for the All Around if all events are the same level.
For Example, you can have a Silver Beam routine, Gold Bars, and Diamond Floor and Vault, but you won’t qualify for AA.
  • If you do not want the videos of your routines shared during the Watch Party, you will not be included in the competition, but you will still be scored and will still receive Judge feedback.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older by 7/20/2024 to compete.  If you are under the age of 18, you may still submit your videos for judging and feedback but you will not be eligible for any awards and your videos will not be shared during the watch party.
  • Since we are celebrating Adult Gymnasts with this meet, all Tie scores will be awarded to the older gymnast.
  • Both women and men are included in the competition.
  • AWARDS
Top 3 for each event, all around, by level will be awarded.  Awards are super cool TShirts 💖

Requirements

  • Videos need to clearly show the gymnast on the apparatus without anything blocking the view.
  • Most current cell phones will do just fine in recording a video.
  • Each event should be a separate video.  There will be 2 videos for vault, one for each attempt.
  • The video needs to start with the gymnast saying their name and the level (Bronze, Silver, etc) and then saluting the camera.  The video will also end with the gymnast saluting the camera… just like they would to the judge at a live meet.
  • There is no specific dress code.  Leos are NOT required, but clothing should be form fitting enough that the judges can see the gymnast’s shapes and movements.  If you have any questions in regard to this, please email us at Admin@EverythingHurtsMeet.com.
  • Specific information on where to upload your videos will be provided after you register.

Tips For Success
